@raonipaes yeah ur right...they been slackin now a days. and alot of the early thrash is influenced by hardcore..Slayer said the same thing
-
Yeah, I know that, surely....I mentioned Cro Mags because they covered "we gotta know", and they admitted being heavily influenced by 80's hardcore.
Well, let me correct you....Sepultura WAS a greath thrash metal band. Nowadays, I don't even know what it is, but I don't like it and for me it is not thrash metal.
-
@raonipaes maybe..i mean Sepatura is a great thrash band. but cro-mags and madballa re hardcore bands with their own unique style
-
Well, I'll take it back and answer both kingofscots and you...I noted some riffs similar to Sepultura's territory, but in fact, that song was released in 93, four years after the releasing of Ball of Destruction in '89.
So maybe sepultura was influenced by this guys instead of what I though...I know tha Sepultura has lots of Cro-Mags influence.
-
@Raonisk dude...Madball was a spin off of Agnostic front..so thats the number one influence. not Sepalturla.
-
@Raonisk In what way? I can't hear any Sepultura influence at all!
