um...i'm saying this without going back and double checking, but i'm pretty darn sure that falcon can't do this. at least not in the same way. the physics on his spike are way different, and much faster.

However.. Ive tried this and I cant seem to chain more then 3 - 4 together.. Any Advice?

are you talking about in training mode or against an actual player? it's a lot harder to do against someone who expects it; a 3-4 hit combo with this move against a human i'd say is pretty good.

Short hop+Spike=Thunder storming?

Btw nearly any character that can spike can do this then, just without the electricity

so this is how Ike spikes effectively?

When Ike runs offstage and spikes his opponents and still manages to recover, do the procedures listed in the video help him to do this?

Another way to do this is to tap the control stick up and right after that tap the C-Stick down. If it is done too fast, you will end up Smashing Down. I'm just putting it out there because it is kind of easier to do.

And let's be honest, a top level Meta Knight will almost always defeat a top level Ganon or Link, thus validating the tier list somewhat
