I loved alot of Camus' work. The Stranger. The Plague. The Fall. I wasn't that crazy about the Myth of Sisyphus and some of his essays. I loved The Trial by Kafka which I could sort of understand. One of my favorite "scenes" in The Stranger is where the main character is talking about having shot this guy "and it was very sunny out, and I was sweating and the brine got in my eyes." Very uneffected. I realize this is simplistic but isn't existentialism "we create our own reality?"

@hehsus You guys obviously seem intelligent but as some other posters have noted what you are saying is very far from existentialism.If you're interested in it read Heidegger's Being and Time, which should give you a better understanding of existentialism's contribution to the philosophy of time. Everyone who is insulting you for not being booked up should take a hard look in the mirror. It's anti-philosophical to discourage thinking even when it errs. Get off your philosophy degree high-horse.
