  • HAHHAH....organic manure into the cake mix......Holy cow a rabbit! That was pretty funny, thanks!

  • Sitting here with baited breath looking forward to seeing the next part...wanted

a good starter video all the rest of the videos look a bit tricky and are beyond me...I've dug out gardens over the years but not for veggies yet...

and run out of room might have a little space left...our soils are very clay a real pain..

but theres one area weed ridden I might have luck with.

  • ummmm y did he talk about a rabbit???

  • Holy cow! How old is that shovel? Its fantastically worn down. Looks like you've used and sharpened it for years and years and years. In Guatemala we have an expression "he has a a skinny machete" and it comes from sharpening your machete till it's skinny. A product of hard work for a long time, and maintaining tools (which are essential to life here). Thus, you sir, have a round shovel. And it's impressive.

  • Me and my friend did this, this weekend and we planted Corn, Strawberries, Watermelon, and Bell Peppers! We started from scratch and his dog LIVI, kept getting in so we put a fence around it to keep him out. But I may have cut the fence wrong. whoops... But we made it about 14x12 feet. We plan to harvest in late July, and Early August. OH YEAH, almost forgot. We also planted cantaloupe and lettuce. But in containers. We just planted today actually. May 23, 2010

  • "bloody rabbits" lol

    Nice work btw.

  • Great video. I'm getting ready to do one on constructing raised beds and would you believe it, I also have rabbits hanging around. They're everywhere!

  • Hey small as your space is you could go collect some old pilots or skids as they are called and make a good fence around your garden so no rabbits to eat your plants just an ideal a free one no cost..Also you can cut a point on an old 2x4 and drive it in the ground as post to hold the pilots up....Hey i will show a video of my pilot fence across my yard whitch allows me to expand my garden...
