Here is my more advanced Blu-Ray player that I got over a month ago. Currently it's hooked up to my grandmother's TV, but I'll hook it up to my own TV by my 18th birthday, which is coming up this February 24th, 2011. Enjoy!
@techguy8326 The reason why I couldn't watch the above mentioned classics on my old Blu-Ray player is because they had the new chips installed in them, which is standard on all Blu-Rays from 2008 onwards. My old Blu-Ray player was made a long time before the change took place, so it couldn't load all the features for the newer Blu-Rays. And yes, I watched UP last Sunday night on my new Blu-Ray player, and it's amazing! The documentaries are terrific! :)
@KingBuick i think mine was made a few months before the new generation players were released. Why couldn't you watch those classic movies before? Oh and btw Up was amazing on blu ray :)
@techguy8326 My previous Blu-Ray player didn't have internet access either, and it was made before Blu-Rays got the chip in 2008 to load faster and get all the features. So I couldn't watch Snow White, Up, and Beauty and the Beast with the old player, but with this new one I can. And it's AWESOME! xD
@granskare Sony Blu-Ray players are different, I guess. And VHS is virtually extinct. Yes, Blu-Rays are expensive, but they'll get cheaper... Just you wait! :) And they have the best picture quality when connected to an HDTV. :)
@techguy8326 It's not a Sony Blu-Ray player. It's a Samsung Blu-Ray player. I don't know what model number it is or anything like that, but when I check out the box sometime soon, I'll let you know. I got it in early October, last month.

@KingBuick Ok thanks. It actually looks better than my Sony BDP S-500 which, unfortunatly, doesn't have internet access.

@granskare That's what I do to, although Blu-Ray is amazing. I'm going to get DirecTV, which is much better than cable! :)

@KingBuick at the moment I just look at stuff on the internet...no need for tv...cable is crap...:)

What brand is this Blu-ray player is this? It doesn't look like a typical Sony Blu-ray player.
