Hi, i have a question. I got one of these devices as a payment for an item. I want to resell it. It looks brand new, but has no documentation or a box. I know it is a stupid question probably, but how can you tell whether it is functioning properly, and what is a price of this device, or what should i sell it for if it works... It looks brand new, with no scratches or anything...

Nice overview! You can setup dual outside interfaces right? I want to set one of these up for 0/0 -> ISP#1 and 0/1 -> ISP#2, then put a metric for it to prefer #1 until #1 is unavailable. For 0/2 -> 0/7 I want to introduce a few different subnets (like 0/2 = 192.168.10/30, 0/3 = 192.168.155.0/24 for starters). I'll have a larger switch connected to distribute LAN connectivity to the various clients; sound ok?

@ke0kie To setup dual ISP WAN connections, google "asa 5505 dual isp 7.x". Cisco has a document which details the setup. As for the multiple LAN interfaces, the ASA5505 can support up to 3 VLANs unless you have the Security Plus license which ups it to 20 VLANs. So if you want multiple LAN interfaces like that you will need the ASA 5505 with the Security Plus license.
