This is my 1950 Lister CS start-o-matic engine. Haven't made an awful lot of progress since the last video; main features are; I've now basically completed the cooling system (it's still a bit temporary, but getting there now); and made the exhaust a bit sturdier. The weld shown on the exhaust is, by far, the worst weld in the world ever, bar none. It leaks (that's the whistling noise you can hear), but those silencers really cuts the noise right down. Most of the noise is the intake & tappets. Oh, and the fact that the engine is sitting on a steel floor which is hollow underneath. Caribbean steel band, anyone?
