Any pitch that you're thinking of that's effective -and- thrown properly isn't a gyroball, because it can't be thrown properly. The only way for a person to get a perfect barrel rotation on a baseball is if they were throwing the ball straight into the ground. Any attempted gyroball pitch will have front or backspin on it, thusly making it a variation of a curveball or slider.
The gyroball doesn't exist. Pitchers can say that they throw it as much as they want, but it's impossible for any person to throw effectively. It requires a perfect barrel roll rotation and even if somebody could successfully throw it consistently, it'd be so slow that it'd be crushed every time.
@SimpleStuff31 then it wasnt a gyroball

no if you throw 3/4 or side arm you can release the bottom of it like I used too and have the bottom fall rite out with barrel rotation
