Crushing blow to anti-social behaviour in Longsight and Ardwick

The Longsight and Ardwick Neighbourhood Policing Team of Greater Manchester Police Metropolitan Division have struck a crushing blow to anti social behaviour on the Coverdale Estate.

Residents from the estate informed the police and local council of numerous incidents involving mini motorbikes in the last few months. In response, the local police team stepped up patrols in this area and seized more than 20 bikes from people.

The bikes were crushed at an event on Cringleford Close on Saturday 5th February. Invitations were sent out to local people to come along and see the work in progress and meet their local officers.
