Excerpt of original. Describes the alligator as a keystone species. Introduces the symbol of the Flood Control District, a cartoon alligator called Freddy. Brings in the job of the Flood Control District. Says that alligators help the Flood Control District by digging holes that become storage ponds. A "natural history" film showing most of the Everglades residents while promoting the Flood Control District.
