Thousands of stuffed animals rain down after the Utica College men's hockey team scored its first goal at the 2011 New York Sash Teddy Bear Toss on Dec. 10, 2011. The Pioneer nation sold out the Utica Memorial Auditorium for the first time in program-history as an attendance of 4,000+ watched UC defeat Salve Regina.
#UticaRocks! Of course PROPS go to the Utica College hockey team - and to the fans. Additionally, as noted by others, BIG PROPS to the SALVE REGINA hockey team for pitching in and helping to collect the teddy bears. They did what no other opposing team had done before and became a part of the charity. Kudos to Salve Regina!
