  • Soo...because im a little confused...You connect the turntables to the mixxer and then the mixer to the pc and VDJ.And then you put on the turntables the timecodes and you are ready right?

  • @technology49 Correct! The timecode vinyls play a sound that goes into the mixer and into the computer for it to translate into data.

  • @wongo69 oh definitely not, I was just spinning the vinyl as a demonstration, i was running a lot of programs at the time making it laggy, plus I'm not even that great of a turntabalist to begin with!

  • @djbboyarray I bought mine at Sam Ash, there were only 4 available at the time, 2 in this green color and 2 in fluorescent orange

  • @frankieboyhey900090 you can really use any turntable as long as they have the red am white component cables to go to your audio interface, and have a timecode vinyl on the platter, it should work as long as the computer can hear the noise the timecode makes.

  • @dkdls not straight out the box, but it can, all you would need is a USB midi mixer with a build in audio interface, or a USB Audio interface and a separate midi mixer controller. There might be a way to do it with a non usb mixer (like the one that comes with the iBATTLEPACK), but I don't have a non USB mixer, so you might have to look into that yourself, I don't want to give you false info. Thanks for the comment!

  • Here's some questions: I'm buying a pair of turntables soon; can I use a normal midi controller (mixtrack pro for example) as a mixer for them, and is external midi such as kontrol x1 which I have mappable? And is that vdj cue you're running with the vdj interface? Thanks
