why over load the weight? Seriously people concentrate too much on the numbers and not the effectiveness. No offense to the maker of the video, but that is probably why he has a huge gut. That isn't a power gut.. that is a potato chips n soda gut. Had he concentrated on the lift rather than the number of plates, he'd be doing a lot better.

This would not get you respect in my gym. Bouncing weights off the floor into a catch to press them means its to heavy for you. If you cant hang clean it up and sit back down with it than go down in weight or have your spotter pick it up or wait til they get a power rack or mil press bench. Slammin weights to get them up would just be a distraction to others training and tear up the equipment
