Tim "Ripper" Owens brought something to the band that caught my ears....that's a fuckin' true METAL voice. No disrespect to the former lead vocalist, but Tim's vocals demands your listen when you hear it. He bridged the gap when Metal was beginning to rise again. Give the man his respect.

@Awesomermac Barlow can go pretty high, but Owens' voice is naturally higher. They're both excellent singers suited to their own songs; Barlow can't sing Owens' songs as well as Owens, and vice versa.

@Awesomermac Yes he can. Just not in the same way. All singers are different. The fact that they managed to find two singers that are like vocally enough for things to work out like it did is amazing in itself. Ripper can't hit the low notes that Barlow can either. They basically are different people, singers, and use different techniques for their own voices.
