  • If each home in the United States had one 55 gallon rain barrel and used that rain water in place of using clean, treated city water to water their flowers, vegetable gardens, and lawns and to wash their cars "tens of MILLIONS of gallons" of clean treated city water would be saved for drinking and cooking.

Rain water run off harms the environment by flushing oils and harmfull chemicals into lakes and streams and must be cleaned first. Become part of the solution not part of the problem!

  • Ten of thousands of gallons of wasted rain water that harms the environment? Seriously. How much impact does a 55 gallon barrel have if my roof is harvesting "tens of thousands of gallons" of rain water? Pretty pious claim for a oil-derived plastic product.

I was going to purchase one of these diverters, but the dribble at the beginning of this video repulsed me enough that I'll look elsewhere.
