Hi guys ~ thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and the rest of the world! My son has classic Autism and I'm working to understand what life is like for him. I'm also a counselor and I work with some children on the Autism spectrum.

You described how you take phrases literally ~ I've seen this in many children with Autism. I was wondering if it would be helpful to children on the spectrum to practice interpreting phrases in a metaphorical sense?
