Massena Emmanuel Congregational United Church Of Christ Re-Dedication -- Part One

On May 10, 2007 lightning struck the massena new york emmaunel congregational church that almost burned it to the ground. a shell of the four walls, the tower and the stained glass windows were the only original sections saved by local firemen.

after much work and dedication from the community -- the church has been restored. this is part one of two for the re-dedication services of the church.

this first segment shows the massena volunteer fireman bringing in the chruch altar's gold cross saved during the fire. it was placed back onto the altar. the bell in the tower was also rung again by the firemen to signal the community that the church is once again open. james phillps and the st. john's episcopal church choir are filmed here singing at the re-dedication program.

Good Grief there is alot of snow there!! I'm glad they were able to save some of the Relics and also able to rebuild. Very Nice video Mr Wacky!! As I always say the town is lucky to have you!! ♥

there were other cameras taking pictures..i just felt i had to be there for the event when i did the original fire film. was in the front row.LOL
