A streetcar ride down St Charles Ave takes you past majestic oaks and grand mansions to the French Quarter and Audubon Zoo. Magazine Street, with its stylish shops and restaurants, is a short walk or bus ride away. And, the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is just 3 miles away from the house, a quick 8 minute drive.

When you arrive for your stay at The Dryades House, you will be welcomed by the inviting front porch of this traditional shotgun-style home. The home's recent renovation includes the addition of central air and heat, new kitchen & updated bath in The Dryades House. There are still many lovely architectural details such as: 12 inch baseboards, transoms, hardwood floors, and 11 ft ceilings.
The interior walls are adorned by local art and photos of local sights. This is a typical shotgun-style house in which one room leads to the next room. There are two bathrooms in the Dryades House, each located just steps away from a bedroom. The den is located at the front of the house and the kitchen and laudry are located at the rear of the home. All you need to do is bring your clothes & the groceries. The home is completely set up with all youll need to live like a local.
