How to play RAR video files

You may come a cross a video file with the RAR extension that won't play on your computer. RAR files aren't video files. RAR is a compression technology to shrink and archive files. If the file is very large it is sometimes broken up into multiple files which make up a multi-volume archive.

everytime when i try to use 7zip it keep on asking me for some kind of password. i tried both ways.

ok i downloaded the 7-zip program but when i click on the Rar file it dosent give me the option of extract with 7 zip , it just the normal thing open , open with , send to , share deleted , etc

what should i do?

Hello from 2012. Video Lan Player will play video files directly from .rar. No need to extract. Go google VLC player.

@xifumouse i gave up on that shit, download FoxTab FLV Player! =) now all videos are play as soon as i click them to play ;)

how come i dled 7zip but when i open the file i right click on the rar file i dont see the 7 zip option only extract files extract here from winrar?
