Wendy Miller, Fox TV's resident Math expert and Munchkin Math creator, shows us how important it is to start your child off young learning math concepts. The earlier they learn, the better they will do in school. Today she discusses symmetry for preschool children.
I've taught elementary school for nearly 20 years. This idea on how to present symmetry is a great one. Many youngsters do not have developed spacial dynamics and are easily confused with the idea of "mirror image". I love this idea of near-near, middle, middle, far, far. It worked great with my students!

This is certainly math related. These ideas are for preschool children just learning math. I think she does a great job. Is she on Fox National TV?
