American Institute of Architects President George H. Miller, FAIA, gave one of several keynotes at the opening session Tuesday, May 4, of the 2010 Good Jobs, Green Jobs conference. The annual conference brings together key stakeholders in the new, green economy - including union members, environmentalists, business leaders, elected and administration officials. At this years gathering, Miller emphasized the architectural communitys role as catalysts for making green jobs a reality and detailed the AIAs role in pushing specific jobs-creating legislation on Capitol Hill.
