O;bama  perverted the market, by NOT letting the market correct. In bankruptcy, GM battery tech would have been bought by ie Tesla Motors. Thus creating "demand". Carter's lowering of cap gains in 79 created the capital that flowed to Silicon Valley in the 1980's. Microsoft and Apple allocated that capital to best use of capital. NOT government bail outs. So... how did we get here? I'll tell you how. Lending money to irresponsible people who weren't able to pay back the money so they eventually filed for bankruptcy. This was happening everywhere. We know the government officials in Detroit are not responsible financially so why should they get bailed out? Why do they deserve more money after all the ponzi scheme thats been going on in there? Please am i missing something?

can you explain why we are lucky? Everything looks good on the outside but on the inside it's getting worse. National debt and the unfunded liability is still rising at an enormous rate, food stamp and welfare recipients still increasing, true unemployment still enormously high and Detroit never recovered from the bailout. So how are conservatives who saves money clowns? And spending money that you don't have is a smart move?
