  • @creative36 - I'd strongly recommend looking into the woman's life before you make statements like that. Humanitarian and human rights campaigner; animal conservationist; charity worker; Mensa qualified (certainly NO idiot); OBE; Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society.

If you've managed half the things she has by the time you are 63, you'll be doing well. Oh, but of course... she's very British, and as far as many Americans are concerned the world starts and ends with the US of A?

  • i love joanna for being so dedicated to helping animals. thats y shes my idol. that and that she is soo frikken hilarious.

u dont have to b posh, to b privileged.

  • Well done Joanne Lumley!

  • alright giraffe...wind your neck in

  • beautiful animals

  • @12hc13hb14ha ... the naming thing isnt 'you belong to me' more of an affectionate thing the same way people name domestic animals. These animals aren't wild but have a great life and are well looked after. Yes i agree it would be better if we lived in a perfect world where all animals could live in the wild, but we dont and its due to human destruction that we now have to protect these animals and have them in captivity to educate and for breeding programs so they dont go extinct due to hunting

  • @12hc13hb14ha Why does it matter she is British? She isnt a animal rights nut she has done alot of conservation work and without people like her the world would be allot worse off. Would it really matter if she was British American, German African etc? No the point is what she is doing an believes in. I worked out in Kenya working in primate conservation, and while there i visited this place. They do allot of work to protect the wildlife out there through rescue, breeding and education...
