Both the Egyptians and Syrians were receiving replacement tanks, ammunition and material from the soviet union for nearly a week before the US starting giving shipments of material to Israel.

Both sides were being backed by the superpowers when the war happened. /Shrug.

My memory is a bit cloudy but I seem to remember that both Egypt and Syria were receiving Soviet aid nearly a week earlier than Israel began getting shipments from the states.

Lol, you talk shit about 1973, yet in the end it was a stalemate and the Israelis fought off attacks from both Syria and Egypt, were grossly outnumbered and were also caught by surprise.

Yet, they halted both Arab advances and eventually started counterattacking and cutting off Egyptian and Syrian Troops.

Israel lost about 2500 men, the arabs lost over 15,000. Israel lost 400 tanks, and the arabs lost 2250. 100 IDF planes vs 500. Yep, I'd say the arabs won that one!!! LOL That showed em!
