  • NOX is a gas emited after combustion, knock is detenation, a rich mix that is burning fuel in your exhaust manifold ausing a pop or "knock"

  • @kontis77 - What he's saying in the video is correct. The mixture has to fluctuate between rich and lean so that the catalytic converter can work properly. Also, he's talking about NOx, not "knocks". Do you know the difference?

  • Please read about narrowband lamda control. The fluctuation from rich to lean is the only way to keep a constant mixture at stoichiometry during closed loop when using a narrowband lamda. This fluctuation is not used to avoid knocks or lower emissions. NOT all sensors in cars are narrowband.

  • You dont know what you are talking about when talking about Lamda signals! Stop uploading videos if you have no IDEA!

  • what about GM's syncronis pulsth width?

  • Incredibly helpful, thanks

  • good video, thanks
