  • Dude..... this may not be his forte, singing Cole Porter. I wasn't a fan of this either. But people have their strengths and weaknesses. I, for example, would probably not be very good at sing reggae... =) But seriously, "abysmal singer"? Those are strong words. Don't be a dick. People pay this guy to sing. frequently. He must be moving SOMEbody with SOME music. I bet his 'Si puo' was better and perfectly lovely.

  • I bow to your wisdom on this one. You are right: audibility, line, clarity of vowels and emotional investment are extremely overrated.

    I forgot that opera is about mumbling and that if you can be understood and heard, there is a problem.
