Those gooey bumpy thingies are what really makes the Sinking Swamp stages so difficult. Here's a case of me accidentally putting one to good use.

How do you unlock this place?

When you beat all ten stages of a world without using a Continue, you'll get a crown for that stage. You unlock Sinking Swamp by getting the crown for every world up to Space Case (World 8).

Wow...that's one lucky monkey. So what exactly do the slime things do normally anyway? I'm guessing that accidentally landing on one and bouncing to relative safety isn't a typical result.

I like how the loops don't really dictate the path you follow, since you can see how AiAi manages to fall near the apex instead of following it the whole way around in an unrealistically simplified and idealized representation of loop physics.

[Overhazard]

The slime mold creatures crawl around and act as obstacles, like moving bumpers. They're very annoying, since they're always placed so that hitting them almost always means bouncing off the stage. Some guarantee such a fate. Sinking Swamp 3 is full of these things. It would be an easy stage without them.

I did a replay of jumping from the start to the goal lol...( was hard to do thought)

Those blue blobs were such a hassle for me at first, too. Then I figured out that they can ONLY be hit away when they are not spread out.

Minimum bounceback too!

...i took a better shortcut by jumping to where the blob-man was and i went down to the goal forget the first loop
