Entwistle was an absolute beast at bass. Theres hardely any1 who played as good as him during the early days. idc what are shit people say about other good bassists out there these days. He is literally one the best bassists to have ever live in my opinion.

@clashwho Zack kicks ass, you are absolutely correct.

Yeah, it's a shame the rest of us can't live forever either...
-
Entwistle is to the bass what Hendrix is to lead.

boy those fuckers are old..its gunna be a shame when they all pass away..too bad we can't turn the clock back to their prime...and have them go another 60 years
-
he IS the best, but john paul jones(led zeppelin) is my favorite bassist, sry, but entwistle is the best though

@1olrocker I was there as well and feel the same way about it....they fn' rocked through that whole show. great vibe in cleveland that night everywhere i went...

I saw them when they came to Cleveland at the Q (then Gund Arena) on this tour. I still remember the show like yesterday - the BEST concert I ever went to. Entwistle did a 20 minute bass solo. They played non-stop for 3 hours. All their best stuff from The Kids Are Alright and My Generation through Eminence Front and You Better You Bet. I also saw them in 1996 when the did the entire Quadrophenia album on tour. Both shows were fantastic!

Is this Auburn Hills, Michigan 2000?

I think it's Tampa 2000.

I think Zak's a huge part of The Who's rejuvenation as a powerhouse live act in the late nineties and 00s.
