Nice. Tho' unfortunately lacks something of vitality. Perhaps due to 'reading' the verses from the song sheet?

Cotrubas had one of the most beautiful soprano voices ever until that Fat Fuck (aka Jimmy Levine) ran her off the stage at the Met; Obraztsova is not everyone's cup of tea but I find that voice to be so exciting: it's like getting on a roller coaster and after all the falls and turns and mountainous climbs you roll into the "finish" with your heart in throat perhaps but knowing that you have been soundly entertained. Close your eyes and listen and you will not see the sheet music!!

Two great divas singing a lovely piece! I just disliked Elena with face on score,but unfortunately it was necessary, for she was not secure on the texts. If it weren't because of this detail, it would have been one of the best performances for this Offenbach's masterpiece. Bravi!
