i went to Rio de Janeiro and I did not visit Christ the Redeemer. I didn't care about that statue either. I believe it is totally normal not wanting to see things that everyone cares.

That looks good! I've always wanted to visit Egypt....I hope the Egyptians get the Democratic Government they want and it will be safe for Americans to visit again! Had to cancel a trip because tour group says it's not safe yet for Americans to travel.... :(

Dude, I just made some koshary on Sunday...I didn't know Anthony Bourdain had tried it until a friend told me about this. It has been 10 years since I was in Egypt and I still cannot find any place around here in the states that makes koshary...I just struck out and perfected my own and have been foisting it upon friends for years. Koshary makes my heart happy and reminds me of one of the completely beautiful times in my life.
