It doesn't matter, people only believe things that are pleasing to their own mind, it's called wishful thinking and has nothing to do with truth. Everyone believes he or she is doing the right thing and will go to heaven. No matter what mistakes you make in life, if you convince yourself that you're forgiven things are alright again and you don't feel the need to take responsibility. Also, the Bible has so many contradictions and is so open to interpretation that it is impossible to live by it.

The Church has failed to teach the Scriptures and what True Salvation is. The message of the Cross is not being shared and explained. It is rather disturbing.
