Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy - Tidus's Tale: Entrusted Power - Vs Emperor

Tidus is the fifth tale in difficulty. Tidus is a speedy character thanks to being a time mage. His moves are insteresting as they have variations of evade and dodge in them before the attack. For example, one attack has him go from ground, jump in air and then come straight down for the attack. Most of his moves evade at the start of the move.

He has some HP attacks based on his overdrives and the Ultimate Jecht Shot. however, an interesting thing is that half of his bravery attacks can branch into the HP attack Quick Hit. In fact, he learns SIX versions of Quick Hit.

His Ex Mode has him equip is Celestial Weapon, Caladbolg (Ultima Weapon in Japan). This grants him critical hits, regen like everyone else, but he also gains a few extra benefits. His running speed doubles and can automatically deflect weak magic attacks as he is running. His invincibility time between dodging and attacking increases AND the higher his HP, the more damage from his attacks.

His Ex Burst is Blitz Ace, his highest overdrive in FFX, he does some slashes and throws the ball and then a gauge pops up. You have to press circle as the moving bar is inbetween the center line. If successful, he will do a mega ball kick and explosion.

Tidus is traveling with Cecil and Firion, so some of the gates may look similar. The somebody fight is against the Emperor in the third gate. While you have Firion as an assist for this gate, you lose him right before the fight. You regain him again afterwards and then lose him again in the final gate.

You face the Emperor in his Pandaemonium Castle. he is alittle tricky as he is the Trap master and his attacks can interrupt your combos alot. He has a slight initial bravery boost.
