Hmm, never heard of him, but maybe this person was on at an early time as I've only been able to turn in to Bev Smith's show. And regardless of whether the host is so called "Liberal" or "Conservative", what I take issue w/ the most is how quick one will go by shouting at people who disagree and/or hang up.

Why was Shelley let go? He was good for WAOK. I get tired of all the same black victim talk. He kept it real! Seriously how many positive black men do you know? How many black men are in jail? Black people hate hearing the truth! It is always someone else's fault. Loraine is horrible! Shelley had a wonderful message that is often suppressed by black people.

I know MANY positive Black men. What one may consider TRUTH, the other may not. Black folks are not the only ones that blame others. This is a human condition that is not just concentrated on Black folks. Shelley definitely had a good show on WAOK. I will miss his banter. Call the station. Ask for management. Maybe they can help with the reason.

Not much is known. He has been let go. But I did see him on CNN this past weekend and I have talked to him. He is fine. He has other irons in the fire.
