Tim's favorite musician was Bruce Springsteen. Bruce briefly talks about Tim being a part of the E Street family then goes into a moving acoustic version of Thunder Road. This was the tail end of the memorial to Tim Russert.

Big Tim : Everybody still misses you very much. I saw your son the other day on the TV, he did a great job and his future looks bright and you would be very proud of him. I miss your work and that smile you used to flash when something pleased you. Bruce did a great job on your favorite song Thunder Road. Thank you Tim for all the great work you did , we did notice.

I really miss those sunday mornings where politicians would go on Meet The Press having to face Tim Russert. The guests loved him and feared him. Most kids grew up watchingsunday morning cartoons. There are some that grew up on Meet The Press with Tim. Seems like since his passing it gave the green light to the rest of the press to be more outrageous.
