Our interview is with Quinton Quayle, British Ambassador to Thailand, who started his posting just before the Phuket air crash 16 September 2007, and is now revisiting here & in Phang Nga; he also visited British prisoners in Phuket Jail; and is due to meet the Phuket & Phang Nga Governors today; He talked to us yesterday at Royal Phuket City hotel about British tourists, residents registering & visa applications. But first he summed up some other reasons for his visit here:
