And when you turned it over...there was a cracking number called "Blue" on the flipside. Blown away, all over again!
The first Island sampler was entitled "You Can All Join in" and released in the early summer of 1968. And serious value for money at 14/6 (£sd!)

Eric Clapton had nothing to do with this and it was actually first released in January 1969, despite the fact that it says 1968 on the label. And it did play at 45rpm. There was a slew of extra long singles around 1968 and 69, for example: Hey Jude, MaCarthur Park and America by The Nice, and Sky Pilot by Eric Burdon & The Animals.
The 'A' side was featured on the Island sampler "Nice Enough to Eat" released in 1969, around the summer time.

Hiya sorry to dissagree with Sid's comments but it definately aint Jackie Lomax singing on this. Jackie Lomax's heavy Jelly was a different band
