His music was powerful and had 20x more soul than anything else at the time that was mainstream. He didn't literally speak to people, I hate how these dumbass commentators keep saying how he was some sort of a spokesman or something, when he said multiple times that most of his lyrics were randomly taken from different poetry he'd written. He did convey the emotions of many people though. You could feel his anger and power when he sang and played. Nobody else did it like he did.

Smells like teen spirit probably goes along with every song ever made because that song is a masterpiece.

@nirvanagurl21 First off, I don't care what the man would think. You are the one declaring his feelings after he is dead and not having known him. Personally, I despise most rap artists and their songs. Some have interesting thoughts and takes on music and it shows. But most just yell expletives while talking about how bad they think they are. And my GOD, those nasty ass teeth!
