If Meyer was genuinely unaware of Nukeese's departure than yes, its understandable. Knowing Kiffin, im sure he probably blew the story out of context a good bit. and as for recruits yes if there is no letter of intent signed, technically they are still free game. These days commitments dont mean anything without a LOI. Teams steal verbally commited players all the time

@mydestinicadventure to answer his phone and tell Urb he was at UT. He just showed Kiff the phone and said Urb kept calling him. Have you EVER heard any player formally recruited by Meyer talk of him calling them while visiting another school? No. Nuke was a high profile recruit but he wasn't that darn special to be called during a visit to another school when no other player ever had...and remember this is the same coach who recruited Tebow, Percy, Joe Haden and other high profile players.

@mydestinicadventure I would say it isn't ethical but when it comes to recruiting ethics is used about like toilet paper. Ask this question, is it ethical to have a committed player to another school come in and visit your school? Maybe not ethical but legal. remember NuKeese was committed to Florida, Urban didn't know he was on a visit to UT. Nuke was supposed to be in G-Ville that weekend helping UF talk to the other recruits, Urb was just calling. Remember the story, Nuke never had the nuts

And yes it was the fans and the media who hyped a blowout but I still think Urban felt he had the chip in his shoulder and the will to do so in the back of his mind. Kiffin was a moron to not know that what Meyer did was not against the rules and to be so ignorant about it. Marcellius Teague was Paris,TN dudes name and two years removed is UT still claiming that Moral Victory because they lost by 10 points(still a double digit loss) Thats like one of UT's biggest moral victory in years. You guys use to be awesome and compete for the East almost every year, won a handful of SECCG, and even pulled a NC outta the arse.

@mydestinicadventure cheating in the recruitment of NuKeese Richardson and a little on the Paris,TN player. The irony behind it all is that Urban, Meyer, and Nukie are all gone from the respective schools. Urban got last laugh, had Kiffen won, all hell would have broken loose from his moUTh, so the win was very very relevant.

@mydestinicadventure Urban never had to justify anything, he was asked a question about the performance about the players and all he did was mentioned how Jeff Demps and Aaron Hernandez and others had the flu. he never hyped a 70-7 beating. That was all fans a some media. He said going into the game it was going to be a battle, you guys had a senior QB and Eric Berry. But Florida winning the game was very relevant. And Urban really paid Kiffen no mind, he only defended himself when accused of...

@xWhydoUcare Im not saying Florida didnt piss Kiffin off at times.But even more?You have to be joking. Kiffin came into the SEC world as a loud mouthed nobody. Urban was a well established SEC and national coach with a strong team.Somehow Kiffin got Urban to stoop to his level.Kiffin was pathetic but smart enough and knew how to piss people off. Florida winning the game is irrelevant in your case. But it does eforce mine. Because even after Florida beat Tennessee.... (see next comment)
