@billybodybuilder It should be illegal to putt around in a 7.0-litre, let alone a force fed one. Waste of a car. Buy a Camry.

My cousin owns a modded BF F6 MkII & he just bought his wife the new FG GS supercharged 5.0-litre 315kw ute. The sound the blower makes is a thing of beauty. Good looking ute too.

It's a real Holden vee Ford family battle, although my series 2 VE SS is up against the blown V8 ute, the modded F6 & my Uncle's FG G6E Turbo. So, I'm kind of outnumbered.

@hsvsv8 Yes sir , agree with u totally. I have seen a supercharged W427 here in Tassie , but he drives it like a grand daddy ! FYI , i've owned both Holden & Ford V8's for over 20 years. Fell in love with the F6 but kinda miss the V8 note, will def go supercharged V8 next :)

@billybodybuilder The majority of people that bought the W427 won't be driving it often (maybe even never). Let alone tearing off down the drags in it. They'll sit in bubble wrap for 10-20 years. They're an investment.

Personally I think the best investment is an HK GTS 327 Bathurst Monaro, or a Phase III XY GTHO or a 1965 Aston Martin DB5. If I had the coin, I'd buy a W427 & drive the doors off it. I'd supercharge it too & have a 10 second daily driver. :)

@danecooper1066 2 Stock cars, you can make 4L 6cyl turbo as quick as a turbo V8, hell you can make a 2L turbo as quick as a 7L supercharged.. how much money you want to spend. I'm talking stock.

Thank f@ck Nissan are joining supercars 2013. Holden need some sort of competitor to race against, instead of those shit box fords. Cant wait, maybe henry ford will get the arse and thrown out the back door. thumbs up for this lol
