Nikita MUGEN: Vs. Neo-Dio

This is my one hundred and fourth MUGEN video. ^_^

Commentary:

I'm trying out a new character, and I think I'm getting the hang of him. ^_^

Ares here is an edit of Blazblue's own Jin Kisaragi, sporting a thunder-based moveset, although he retains most of Jin's original moves. to be honest, I don't actually own Blazblue myself, or even an XBox 360 nor a PS3 to play it on, so despite this character being an edit, he's is pretty much my first exposure to Blazblue (Kamekaze's Captain Falcon doesn't exactly count. :V).

However, he's still in the beta stages, which is made obvious by the lack of a large portrait (shown here by the lifebars I use). But in spite of that, he's so much fun to use, even though I tend to hyper jump on accident (not exactly sure what triggers the hyper jump other than down, up). Aerial combos tend to do quite a lot of damage, though, plus he currently has no supers (unless I'm missing any). And the ability to chain overheads into his grab may be bothersome to some players, but from what I hear, Jin can do that in source. At least Ares won't be as broken as the original. XD.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to this character's completion.

My opponent is another creation by Hiram Yagami, Neo-Dio. Like Zeus and Neo-Geegus, he's also from World Heroes Perfect, but here he has proven to be more difficult than the other two, with a very aggressive AI and an unblockable super to top it off. However, his AI may be a bit TOO aggressive, as I could have easily just poked him to death almost every time he ran towards me, which was pretty often. But I didn't, as I wanted to show most of what I learned from practicing with Ares. I was facing Neo-Dio in Normal mode for this video.

Please pardon the abnormal play. The way I do things is weird, sometimes. ^_^;

Hyper Jump can be triggered by 3 kick buttons as well but I don't think that's the case here.
