@HollywoodSheen Yeah, totally agree, and it's hard to believe the 2012 car looks even worse in many respects compared to the 2003 car we all want to see the back of. Yet the old CART Reynards, Lolas, Eagles, Penskes etc look, sound and perform better than any of the watered down and designed-by-committee crap the IRL has passed off as "IndyCar" racing. Why can't these fools see what made the sport such an awesome spectacle, a true F1 alternative, before the split?

Any way you guys could ever come back here? This is really close to my college, I would seriously consider going...
Guy below me: Gateway is very close to East St. Louis (hence the name). At least it's not named for a not-really-nearby town like a lot of other tracks...

As always: thnx 4 posting vintage races!
The race was quite entertaining but the attendance was a bit poor (all empty grandstands in Turn 1!).
Dover Motorsports seems to be slighly negilgent concerning Gateway International Raceway (for intance this year's blackout during the NASCAR weekend). It's a pitty.
