The following morning Miley woke up from the bright sun beams flowing through the light shades that covered the window. Groaning, Miley strecthed to her sides, running her hand up and down the spot next to her to feel nothing but emptiness. She couldn't help but feel betray pulsate through her veins. It was too good to be true. . . of course, he hadn't meant---yet again---nothing he spoke of.

Standing up, Miley ran her fingers through the touseled waves that cascaded down her front side. The tears formed at the corner of her eyes, but forcing herself to push them back. Miley slid her fingers inside her hair, pulling it up as she slipped off the scrunchy from her wrist. Tying her hair up in a messy bun before traveling to the washroom.

Minutes had passed as Miley refreshed herself, leaping toward the sink one last time that morning as she splashed her face with cold water. Looking up, her eyes locked one on one. Her own circular azure spheres to the refected ones on the mirror.

All she read was upon her features were. . . disgust. How she could do this to herself over and over again. . . let him into her life, like he had never done anything. To everyone else, Nick was a monster that had toyed with her heart over and over again. . . but, no one saw Nick like she had. Nick revealed himself to Miley, leaving not one fact without being said. She knew his where abouts, the things he went through during his childhood, his future plans. He was her first love. . . her first mistake.

Growling lowly for being so stupid, Miley shut off the faucet as she leaned over grabbed the cloth, drying her face timidly before making her way out. Shutting the light as well as the door during the process.

Throwing on a pair of light-shaded skinny jeans and a loose white t-shirt, Miley made her way out of the bedroom and down the stairs. Turning the corner to make her way into the kitchen, her gaze moved upwards and to her suprise they locked with the young fellow who captured her heart just the other night. "Nick? I---I thoguht,you had left."

"Of course not, I meant what I said yesterday. . ." He responded sincerely. "Come on, I made us breakfast. Your favorite, scrambled eggs with bacon."

Miley couldn't help but feel her lips tug into a small smile. "Thank you. . ." Her voice trailed off as she took a seat at the kitchen table. "It looks and smells delicious."

"Let's just hope it tastes that way." He chuckled whole-heartedly soon taking a seat next to the petite brunette. "Dig in and enjoy." He grabbed the fork set next to his plate as he began to eat.
