  • Hi, have you been able to run PPG on Windows 7 64 bit. Meaning on a 32 bit host? Thankx

  • No I'm still with pentium 4 PC, running XP.

In fact the clip was done with my old PC, a pentium III, running at 755mHz!!!!

  • why don't you send an e-mail to waldorf asking?

they still sell this VST, which that means the have to support it

  • I have the Waldorf collection but I have never heard the second patch used in this demo. What is the name of that patch? Does it come from another soundset?

BTW. If you think NI's FM7 is great try the FM8. It goes far beyond what the DX7 could do and really shows off what FM can do.

  • do you mean that poly analog-type sound?

It's preset I made, I could send it to you.

  • anyone know how to make a mk249c sync w reason??? downloaded a driver and still getting no sign of it....

  • I saw Klaus Schultze using the 2.3, along with the CMI Fairlight, in Coventry Cathedral, UK during the 1980s - and still not recovered since!

  • This is free?, has a good FM like tone, the idea of VST instruments is good but not worth paying for.

  • There is now a FREE version of the PPG.

Its called 'PPG Wave Simulator' and its made by Hermann Seib (VST Host).

Its very accurate to, check the hardware comparison vids on Youtube.

    PC only though I'm afraid.

  • Thanks for posting this. Really underrated soft synth.

  • Ooooh I must get one of these. Had a 2.2 in the 90's.Nice but bulky and tempremental and the manual was badly translated and had errors in it.

This looks to be more accesible. Woops, can't spell..
