BROOKLYN NY:
Williamsburg Shomrim catch thief after a brief pursuit in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.
The thief alledgedly went into a store and snatched a cell phone from a pocket book that was on the counter. The thief left the store and the store owner realzied there were missing items from the pocket book. Shomrim was called with a description of the thief and Shomrim held the suspect until the NYPD arrived. NYPD made a quick response and arrested the suspect at the scene.
Great work by the Shomrim units and great work by the hard working men and woamn of the New York police Department.
my guess is they are standing around and watching to make sure the guy isnt abused and his rights are protected, plus a little public shame can be a good thing (assuming they got the right guy)....we lost that in this country, people committ crimes and its no big deal..

@cindabennett I cant turn the tables~ I do not steal! In our jewish law some one that steals get more punishment
than a robber because a robber publicly steals while a thief does it privately hidden from people. He has a false shame and refuses to be seen so that he will not be recognized and hence....do it again and again.
I would like to remember the face of a thief.

@cindabennett I will send the thief to your house! there you will say to him "what is yours is yours and what is mine is yours" its is amazing when people take things out of context.
