Pinch? Ouch! Tips on Curling Lashes

Are you afraid of eyelash curlers? Do you find that your curler tends to pinch and hurt you? Are you an aspiring makeup artist and you're afraid to curl other's lashes? Here are some tips and tricks for you! =)

I am using the Shu Uemura lash curler.

I usually put on eyeliner before I curl my lashes, but parts of my eyeliner comes off when I curl my lashes b/c the curler touches my lid. Do you have any tips on how to avoid this? I've tried putting on eyeliner after, but my curled lashes get in the way.

I've got what's known as hooded eyes, you should try doing a tutorial on eyes like that!

@jesspeck921 I think it's hard to get the outer lashes curled as well as the inner lashes. Happens to me, too and I would recommend buying a mini lash curler just for the outer lashes

I was wondering, though, if you had any advice on helping to curl the outer lashes?

For some reason, it seems that when I am curling my lashes, my outer lashes aren't getting curled with the curler... am I doing something wrong? I would appreciate your help! I look forward to more videos :) Keep up the great work! :)

I'm so glad you did this video. B/c I refuse to use a lash curler because I pinched myself and it hurt like hell. lol. Great tips.
