I know, it has only 0.33mV of output power! The uk distro has the XLZ 7500 all sold out, price tag Euro €385,- !

Is this Pickering XLZ 7500 cartridge? I use Pickering XV15 150, sounds massive in bottom.

Yes it is. I'm not familiar with the XV15, but the unusual thing about the XLZ is its low output, like an MC. It sounds delicate & detailed like an MC, but dynamic like a MM. For the money (if you can get hold of one) it takes some beating!

I almost hate to ask but, what's the name of the song?

Simply Red, Picture Book, Money too tight to mention!

Truly nice variation on the Ladegaard design! Looks very well executed also! I´m not sure though if this kind of music justifies the considerable effort ;) Did you experience any tracking deficiencies because of the higher pivot point and short arm (concerning record warp)compared to a basic Ladegaard arm?
....that's an old Lenco idler, isn't it?

Thanks!
The Simply Red albums are very good fidelity & well recorded.
The higher pivot is more stable because all the weight it below it. I found the lower pivot caused variations in VTF with warps & LP thickness.
