C64 SPEECH SYNTHESIS [HD] +download links

This is a video I made, demonstrating the Software Automatic Mouth (S.A.M.) by Don't Ask Software (1982) for Commodore 64, Atari 400/800, Apple II. I started the Commodore 64 CCS64 emulator (download here http://www.ccs64.com/ ) then load (File: Load/Run) the SAM/Reciter + Say It (download here http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=42843 ). When it asks «Low or High memory?», press L - you'll have less troubles. It will say "guten tag!". Then type LOAD"SAY IT",8 and when it says READY type RUN. You'll have to chose "SAM" - and enter phoneme codes, or Reciter - and you can enter words.

I loved this. We used to stand in front of the c64 in a computer shop from morning to evening in the vacation. and we typed in "THIS SHOP SUCKS!" with maximum, volume :D hrhrhr ;)

It is maded an hardware syntetizer for finnish language to the module port audio goes to the video port's audio connector. It adds SAY and SAP commands to BASIC.

I loved SAM...

One thing that used to annoy me with Sam is if you typed in a strange character, SAM would say something like, "Gary says... Gaaaary says".... ha ha
