  • Also pay attention to how you accomodate with the subtlely in both the feet(rear foot) and stick-hand. Become conscious of how you use the empty-hand for reciprocation to make faster changes. Heavier weapon slows it all down to make it easier to observe.

  • Try thicker/denser stick/rod. You will find it takes a greater number of joints to control the weight with speed. Moving closer to using all the joints from the foot up... especially the shoulder joint... and floor movement timing. Should help loosen you up.

  • Turning your shoulders off your execises will lead to your failure. Try not to over turn your shoulders as if you're turning your back... a no-no. Footwork needs to move a little bit more. All in all, good work.
