A short time ago, in a land not so far away, Ole Miss faced the tall task of selecting a new on-field mascot. Here, we take a closer look at a true story where a group of passionate students humorously nominated Admiral Ackbar to become their mascot. It's not crazy, it's sports.

Don't really know if anyone notices but the south is kinda big on tradition. The mascot doesn't have to be considered a racist symbol just keep it traditional or nothing at all. I think something like Admiral Ackbar would just make other schools to poke fun at the university of mississippi.
