bro you can fill your tank with 6 cm of sand because if you decide to put live plants which is helpful the water will be more cristal .

you mean that one in the corner is veryyyy efficient trust me no one knows its reliability and efficiency 2 weeks the sponge becomes dirty which means this filter clean the water and not the opposite!!try it!!!
